Small place in a strip mall on the corner breakfast there is wonderful and the country fried steak is huge can't go wrong

Went for breakfast, it was awesome!! Our waitress Sandy was very nice. She took our orders, explained some options to us, and got our food to us in record time!! The food was exactly what we ordered, and exactly the way we ordered it. Great waitress!! The portions were generous and the prices were well below what we have paid elsewhere. This is our new go to spot!! Great job Charley's!!

Had breakfast 2 times. Both great. Ham and cheese omelet was the best ever. Not a fancy place, but all you need plus good food!!

Very small dining area. I was there at the end of the lunch rush but it still took a bit of time to get our food. Food was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. The establishment seemed very clean. The tables were very small with lots of stuff on them. I will go back I'm sure.

First time I ever ordered . AND OMG the layered breakfast is AMAZING. Would definitely go back and try lunch . Totally coming back with my family for breakfast. That was super yummy you could taste the love in the food .

It took 45 minutes to get grilled cheese and fries....and the pork tenderloin looks shady. Would NOT recommend coming here.

After waiting for over 30 minutes the food finally arrived. I ordered a B.L.T.It was the skimpiest sandwich I have ever been server in a restaurant! It will be the last time I eat here! If you want your money's worth, go to The Egg Factory or A&N on South Combee!!Better food, better, service, and bigger portions!!

The food here is so delicious! I can't believe I've been driving past this little restaurant for years. I decided to try it out one morning when I ordered from Uber eats and since then I've been hooked. I usually get my food to go but today I ate inside and I swear the food tasted even better than it does when I order it to go. The french toast is to die for!!

We stumbled on this diner after an appointment in the strip mall! Its super cozy, the food is down home comfort food! The service was good very nice and polite! The waitress got down and was talking to my daughter . Alot of the customers are called by name! They have live music. I am old fashioned old soul . I loved the experience! Definitely worth it! We felt very welcome and comfortable!! Love this place

Went there Saturday at 1:00 p.m. sat down at a table for ten minutes and no one even said hello or offered us a menu. Just got up and left. Never ate there before and never will. How rude.

Absolutely enjoyed the food, the ambiance and the staff. Layout of the restaurant is perfect for dining and gives a unique setting with the decor on the walls and the waitstaff dress code. Order the special and it was plenty of food for the buck. We would definitely be returning for another meal. My recommendation is that if you have the opportunity to stop by and enjoy a meal, please dont miss the chance. Located real close to downtown and the business district and hospital.

Amazing little breakfast and lunch diner. Great prices, the staff is so friendly and relaxed. All you can eat fish fry on Friday! Everything looked great but I highly recommend the grilled cheese with soup or the burger with fries

Some of the best mom and pop food you can get in Lakeland the wait staff is amazing and friendly they always go the extra mile for you breakfast is outstanding I'll try to fish fry tonight I'm sure it is just as good as the rest of the food that we get there I recommend this place highly anyone looking for home cooked meal

Waited 25 mins for a sandwich curbside...had 2 leave for appt. Never got food.

I had an eye procedure done across the street which prevented me from being able to get back on the road immediately. So I stumbled into this little restaurant on the side of the road that was advertising fish fry. And I happened to be here on a Friday which was an all-you-can-eat fish fry for under $10!Charlie's family restaurant is the epitome everything you love about a family restaurant. My fish was light and crispy. The sides were delicious. The wait staff is super friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was relaxing. And while I was a newcomer, i watched them interact with some regular visitors and both knew their "regular" order as well as ask about their families. It was almost as if this was directed to be a backdrop for a movie in which the Stars would wander into the local eatery at any moment!Now that I know where it is I hope to be back here again on one of my other visits to Lakeland. Truly a hidden gem.

I am very picky when it comes to food. I really appreciate that when I give feedback they listen. Further, I love their breakfast and it is cooked to order. The staff are like family and your neighbors next door, they care and miss you when you are not there. I really like Charlie's and I always order breakfast, it is delicious and filling! I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant 😊

Always love the food here. Service is nice. They have their busy spots, but you can call in your order about 20 minutes ahead and pick it up in order to avoid a long wait.

My first order from them I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of for for the price, it was more than I could eat. The food is Delicious too. I definitely will be ordering again my new favorite restaurant.

Charlie's is great mom,pop restaurant. Breakfast is inexpensive and delicious. Definitely going to make it a regular breakfast go to. Staff is friendly and polite , no rushing you in and out.
